Now this palace has been transformed into a beautiful tourist hotel which is managed by Rajasthan Tourism Development Corporation (RTDC).

By Air: Jaipur airport is the nearest airport, roughly 3hour drive from Siliserh Lake and the nearest national airport is Delhi airport which is approximately 180 kms from Siliserh. Delhi airport is well connected to other major cities like- Mumbai, Jodhpur, Jaipur etc from where you can get frequent flights to various international and national airports.

By Train: Alwar railway station is the nearest railway station from Siliserh located at a distance of 15kms. It is also well connected to the major cities like- Jaipur, Jodhpur, Rewari, Gurgaon, New Delhi and Agra.

By Road: Siliserh Lake is situated approximately 18kms from Alwar, 165kms from Delhi via Daruhera-Alwar-Siliserh route and 110 kms from Jaipur Highway.

Siliserh Lake – Spread in about 7sq kms area on alwar – sariska road, the beautiful siliserh lake is located at a distance of about 20 kms from alwar city , 165 km from Delhi (Bus stand- Dhaula kuan) and 110 kms from Jaipur. The siliserh lake was built by king Vinay Singh in the year 1845, which is situated in the north-east part of rajasthan. In the centre of the lake, there is a beautiful lake palace which was built by the king Vinay Singh in the memory of his beloved wife named Shila. It is a centre point where you can relax before you move to Sariska tiger reserve.

Ajabgarh Bhangarh – Situated in the Rajgarh municipality of Alwar district, Bhnagarh is a village that is popular for its historical ruins. Bhangarh is situated at the edge of the Sariska Tiger Reserve. Ajabgarh Bhangarh is approximately 75 kms from alwar city.
